The first thing to catch the eye is the dial in a soft pastel shade of pink or sand beige. The fine sunburst pattern on the dial surface lets the colors shimmer a different shade depending on how the light strikes it, in a way that is reminiscent of sunsets on the legendary Venice Beach. There is a special engraving on the base that identifies the Ternos Medium California as a special model and unmistakably refers to the “Golden State” with palm trees, sunbeams, and a surfboard.
