I recently had my Rolex repaired due to some of the numbers becoming dislodged. I received a very reasonable quote & the delivery in both directions was seamless. Definitely highly recommended this company

The gas release valve detached from my 2007 Seamaster. Omega wanted a hefty £600 to replace and would only do so as part of a wider service, which I didn’t want. Watch Doctors quoted accurately, explained the process and kept me updated throughout. Cost was less than 20% of that quoted by Omega and they use OEM parts. People are quick to complain and leave negative reviews if their expectations aren’t met. I try to do the opposite and give praise where I think it’s due. As here. Got my watch back this morning in a nice velvet pouch. Deal with confidence. Good outfit doing good work.

These guys are magic! Dropped my Tissot in for a new battery and strap, and not a lot of money later, both have been professionally replaced and the watch looks brand new. On collection I brought in one of my other watches, to get a quote on a new battery. They replaced it there and then for £15! Couldn’t have been happier. Will recommend to anyone needing a watch repaired!

My watch stopped so I sent it to Watch Doctors for a service and repair. The price was way cheaper than sending it to the manufacturer (and turnaround was much quicker too). It came back looking great: as well as the service they'd given it a clean and polish, and it keeps better time now than it did before (it's an automatic watch, it used to lose a second every few days - now it's more like a second every week or two). I'm very happy with the service, price and speed, and would happily recommend them to anyone :)

Absolutely amazing service. From the initial enquiry, to the quotation, to the dispatch of postal box, to the repair, to the watch’s return. Couldn’t have been smoother. A highly professional operation. Thank you.

Great service! I contacted Watch Doctors to ask if they could replace a worn leather watch on my much-loved Vivienne Westwood watch. They sent me a box and a label to post my watch to them, and it was back with me in just seven days. I'm so pleased they were able to give a new lease of life to my watch, and especially pleased that they were able to keep the original, unusual, buckle.

My Breitling watch stopped working and so contacted Watch Doctors. They provided a guide price which seemed reasonable and so I opted to send it to them for repair. The watch was returned today after paying the invoice (which did not increase from the estimate) and delighted with the end result. All backed by a guarantee. Would recommend and use again

Outstanding in every way - great communications and terrific value. I paid a third of what another company quoted for a repair.

Most manufacturers recommend that a watch be serviced every 3-5 years.

However, if you wear your watch frequently, especially during strenuous activity or in dusty or humid environments, you may need to have it serviced more often.

A full watch servicing will involve:

  • Complete disassembly of the case and movement.
  • Visual inspection of the components.
  • A five stage ultrasonic cleaning process to remove dirt, corrosion and degraded lubricant.
  • Replacement of damaged or worn parts.
  • Polishing of the case and bracelet.
  • Replacement of water-resistant gaskets.
  • Lubrication, reassembly and calibration of the movement.
  • “Hot” reassembly of the case, to prevent moisture entering the system.
  • Testing watch operation in six different positions to ensure it keeps time accurately.
  • Three stage pressure testing (Dry, Water and Steam)

A watch service is a comprehensive maintenance procedure for your timepiece, involving cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of worn parts. This helps ensure the watch continues to function accurately and extends its lifespan.

Yes, servicing a watch is worth it, especially for high-quality, luxury, or sentimental timepieces. Regular servicing prevents damage, maintains accuracy, and extends the watch’s lifespan.
