 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The gas release valve detached from my 2007 Seamaster. Omega wanted a hefty £600 to replace and would only do so as part of a wider service, which I didn’t want. Watch Doctors quoted accurately, explained the process and kept me updated throughout. Cost was less than 20% of that quoted by Omega and they use OEM parts. People are quick to complain and leave negative reviews if their expectations aren’t met. I try to do the opposite and give praise where I think it’s due. As here. Got my watch back this morning in a nice velvet pouch. Deal with confidence. Good outfit doing good work.

Dropped my Tissot in for a new battery and strap, and not a lot of money later, both have been professionally replaced and the watch looks brand new. On collection I brought in one of my other watches, to get a quote on a new battery. They replaced it there and then for £15! Couldn’t have been happier. The price was way cheaper than sending it to the manufacturer (and turnaround was much quicker too). It came back looking great: as well as the service they'd given it a clean and polish, and it keeps better time now than it did before (it's an automatic watch, it used to lose a second every few days - now it's more like a second every week or two). They provided a guide price which seemed reasonable and so I opted to send it to them for repair. Servicing by our Expert Watchmakers

A full Rolex service is recommended every ten years to maintain full functionality. All watches are fully disassembled, examined cosmetically, cleaned and oiled, and any worn or damaged parts are replaced. The watch is then fully reassembled and tested for accuracy and water resistance before being returned to you.

If your Rolex watch has been damaged, a repair may be required. This can either be conducted through drop-off to a Watch Doctors workshop in Tring or Thame, or by sending it to us through the post.

Watch Doctors offer a complete repair solution for automatic, manual, quartz and chronograph Rolex models. Our senior watchmakers are certified by the British Horological Institute (BHI) to meticulously dismantle, replace, ultrasonically clean and lubricate all timepiece components.

Our quality control measures include water resistance testing (where applicable) and full mechanical testing prior to collection or dispatch.

Our service fees depend on the type of repair and the specific model of Rolex. Watches with greater complexity will be more expensive to service.

Should I get my Rolex watch serviced?

Yes, Rolex recommend you have your watch serviced every 10 years to maintain the watch’s condition and prevent undue wear to internal parts.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes, we offer free estimates on all watch repair or servicing enquiries. Unfortunately, we cannot fully assess the condition, servicing required, or the extent of damage to your watch until it is in our hands – so estimations may change once we have physically inspected it. All changes in pricing will be confirmed with you prior to work starting.

What if I don't know what's wrong with my watch?

After over 40 years repairing watches, we’ve seen it all. If you don’t know what the issue with your watch is, we can diagnose the issue for you, then provide a custom quote for its repair.
