For over 40 years, Watch Doctors has specialised at servicing all models of Tissot watches. Our Swiss-trained, BHI-accredited technicians utilise state-of-the-art diagnostic tools to maintain your watch’s optimal performance.
Hertfordshire Horologists TA Watch Doctors is an official Tissot authorised service centre, certified to service all watch models including PRX, Seastar and more.
Using state-of-the-art equipment & processes we can restore the appearance, performance and timekeeping precision of any Tissot watch, including Seastar, Powermatic, PRX and Le Locle models.
At Watch Doctors, every watch we service is meticulously disassembled, cleaned, and inspected by our expert technicians. Any worn or damaged components are replaced using manufacturer-approved parts or high-quality alternatives, depending on your preference. To ensure precision and reliability, each timepiece undergoes rigorous 5-day mechanical testing before being returned to you in peak condition.
Watch Doctors offers comprehensive servicing for automatic, manual, quartz and chronograph watches. All watches are examined cosmetically and operationally, before a tailored price is agreed with the customer.
A full Tissot service is recommended every five years to maintain full functionality. All watches are fully disassembled, examined cosmetically, cleaned and oiled, and any worn or damaged parts are replaced. The watch is then fully reassembled and tested for accuracy and water resistance before being returned to you.
Expert watch maintenance
If your Tissot watch has been damaged, a repair may be required. This can either be conducted through drop-off to a Watch Doctors workshop in Tring or Thame, or by sending it to us through the post.

We offer free estimates on all watch servicing enquiries. Estimates may change following physical inspection as we cannot fully assess the condition or extent of servicing required until your watch is in our hands. We confirm all changes in pricing with the customer, prior to any work starting.

Our senior watch technicians are based in our workshops in Tring and Thame, but have trained in Switzerland to specialise in Tissot watch servicing at the highest level. Our service fees depend on the type of repair and the specific model of Tissot. Watches with greater complexity will be more expensive to service.
Yes, Tissot recommend you have your watch serviced every 5 years to maintain the watch’s condition and prevent undue wear to internal parts.

Unfortunately, we cannot fully assess the condition, servicing required, or the extent of damage to your watch until it is in our hands – so estimations may change once we have physically inspected it. All changes in pricing will be confirmed with you prior to work starting.
