Will my watch get damaged in the post?
It’s both easy and safe to send your watch to us. After agreeing an estimate based on your photos and enquiry, we can send you a secure Watch Doctors postage box to store your watch in during postage. There are some additional steps you can take to keep it protected:
- Wrap in bubble-wrap.
- Seal the container with tape along all openings
- Use tracked postage.
Do you offer guarantees?
We offer guarantees on all watches we service. The guarantee length is usually dependent on the brand, model and service applied. Contact us today to discuss the guarantee available on your next repair.
What if I don’t know what’s wrong with my watch?
After 35+ years of repairing watches, we’ve seen it all. If you don’t know what the issue with your watch is, we can quickly and professionally diagnose it for you, and then provide a custom quote for its repair.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes, we offer free estimates on all watch repair or servicing enquiries. Unfortunately, we cannot fully assess the condition, servicing required, or the extent of damage to your watch until it is in our hands – so estimations may change once we have physically inspected it. All changes in pricing will be confirmed with yourself prior to work starting.
Is my watch worth repairing?
Sometimes a watch repair can cost more than the piece is actually financially worth. Of course, sentimentality can play a factor, but it is important to consider the value of your watch before sending it for repair. We can help you consider whether it is worth sending your watch for repair with every quote.
