Watch Doctors FAQs

Repair times can vary depending on the complexity of the issue and the availability of parts. Some minor repair jobs, such as battery replacements, can be done same-day or even while you wait if you bring it in-store. More complex repairs can take anywhere from a few hours to several days, but you will always be kept updated.

Our service fees depend on the type of repair and the specific watch brand and model. You can find unique pricing for various watches on our brand pages. Alternatively, you can request a free estimate, here.

Glass replacement starts from £26 for a standard round glass, but can vary based on brand and shape. It can be hard to provide an estimate for more complicated glass shapes and repairs. Request a free estimate and provide a photo, here and we get back to you as soon as possible.

Yes, we offer free estimates on all watch repair or servicing enquiries. Unfortunately, we cannot fully assess the condition, servicing required, or the extent of damage to your watch until it is in our hands – so estimations may change once we have physically inspected it. All changes in pricing will be confirmed with yourself prior to work starting.

Sometimes a watch repair can cost more than the piece is actually financially worth. Of course, sentimentality can play a factor, but it is important to consider the value of your watch before sending it for repair.
